Bentwood High Back Chair by Jan Bočan, 1972

This chair was designed by Jan Bočan, the award-winning architect behind the Czechoslovakian embassy in Stockholm that was built in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He also designed the furniture, including this high back chair. Possibly produced by Thonet or Ton, this chair is in original condition and has got the original fabric. The cushions are set around a dark bentwood frame with a rich woodgrain.
