Danish Opaline Radiohus Pendant by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen


The Radiohus pendant was designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish National Radio headquarters in Copenhagen in the 1940s and was produced by famous manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Lauritzen was the architect for the whole building. It was produced in several sizes and this example is one of the larger models. It consists of a white opaline glass globe with a whole in the bottom and a brass fitting on top.
